Extra Virgin Olive Oil is a product of the Maria Teresa Estate in San Martino in Vignale, in the province of Lucca. It is one of the flagships of this small farm.

The oil from Tenuta Maria Teresa is a guarantee of authenticity, also thanks to the ICEA organic certification: every single olive comes from plants within the farm.

The olive harvest takes place only at the time of the proper separation of each different type of fruit: so leccino, frantoio, maurino and moraiolo are taken separately and pressed on the same day of harvesting at the mill owned by the company.

Attention to details is essential: the pressing takes place cold with kneading times of around 30 minutes. Once extracted, the oil is stored in containers under nitrogen at a controlled temperature.

Recommended Combinations

The oil from Tenuta Maria Teresa is characterized by a very low acidity. It goes well with any dish: an organic extra virgin olive oil of this caliber has no limits of application. It is possible to realize it simply by tasting it on a slice of bread (possibly unsalted) with a pinch of salt.
